Explore the flavorful and unique flavors of The Middle East during this hands on culinary exploration. Junior Chefs will learn the geographical location and background of this amazing culture and some of the specific ingredients that are used in cooking dishes from this region.
We will review kitchen safety, tool identification, recipe reading and measuring tips. Our menu will include: Fresh Fattoush Salad and Homemade Pita with Hummus. Chefs will bring home all the food they prepare in class to present to family and friends.
NOTE FOR ALL STUDENTS:
- Class is limited to 10 students
- Female chefs need to wear hair pulled back; preferably in a bun
- Comfortable/closed toed shoes are mandatory; no flip-flops
